Better one or better two?

Two picture posts in one day! Where's the inhaler? Okay, so back to website/blog ideas. I love these two purses, so I'm turning to them for inspiration. I love the red and pattern of the first one, but I'm worried it might be too busy (by the way, ignore the countertop stains from last night's dinner, thank you).

I'm leaning toward this one: works in the orange, fun, but more earthy.

What do you guys think?

LOL, I saw two new posts illuminated in Bloglines for you, so I had to rush over to see if you were okay ;).

Although red is my favorite color, and I like the purse :) :) :), I'm afraid if you go with something like this it'll have an Asian feel to it (looks Mandarin to me???). And there's absolutely NOTHING wrong with that, except it doesn't feel like you. I'll also add that although I loved my old Blogger Pensieve design, too busy was a concern of mine. It's easy to "busify" a blog, and that's distracting, not inviting. Red, done well AND SIMPLE, could be nice, though.

My preference is the color scheme of the second one :). There's a Pannasmotata (?) template (or is it Zoot?) that has a paisley design and it's adorable/whimsical. Julie had it (I think) at Another Chance Ranch ages ago, and it wasn't too much of a good thing.

Two cents...not worth much, huh?

Oooooo, make sure to read my reply back to you today ;) :).

I agree, the first one is too busy. Like the second one.

Second one. I think the first would be a bit too overpowering...
however, as a purse, they are both fabulous!!

Ummm, another Thinkin' Blogger thingy from me today...wish I had beat Peter to it, but he's quicker on the draw than me :).

Where have I been??? I've been gone a week??

I like the second one. I think it fits you. If you really want red (and it sounds like you do), I'm sure you could find something else reddish.
