Unreview - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling

This is an unreview because all I want to do, really, is say for the record that I'm done (finally - don't you hate when life gets in the way of fantasy?) and I liked it and I no longer need to avoid half the world because someone might give away the ending, which I'm not going to do. While Rowling's prose isn't an Anne Tyler melody, the story is powerful. At one point, I found myself crying so hard I couldn't read the words on the page (nobody mistook me for a Stoic).
And now sadness that it is finished (allusion purposeful).

Funny that, I found my self crying after the fourth book when I realised she had no idea how to end the series, that's when I simply gave up reading them. What is it with Sci-fi and fantasy writers and their multi volume works? It's harder to be concise than to waffle.

Sorry, that last comment was me.

I may start it soon.
Just putting off because I don't want to have to be interrupted.

Oooh, I got goosebumps when I read your last line. And I let out an "Awwww" when I read about you crying. What part? What part? Gosh, I wish we could talk plainly.

I cried for 2 deaths (won't give spoilers - but you can imagine who and what) - AND sniffed a bit for the first "what" death, because it came as such a shock. I had to re-read the section about 3 times to get the complete gist of what had just happened.

But - I totally cheered Mrs. Weasley at the end and her choice of derogative name calling. It was my favorite part of the whole book.

I know exactly which deaths you're talking about, Karmyn, because I had the same reaction (and to Mrs. Weasley, too).
