Really?

Yeah. I saw that yesterday. Poor girl. Even if I jokingly tried to be as random as possible and make as little sense as I could, I don't think I could manufacture a non-answer of that caliber. Let's hope, for her sake, her cluelessness is pervasive enough that she won't know the world is laughing at her.

The big mystery to me is how Mario kept a straight face. I would have exploded on the spot. At least Miss SC would have earned points for making me laugh.

Egads - horrible - if ever there was a symbol for "dumb blonde" - she fits it.

I wonder if she was coached to say South Africa and Asia and Iraq as much as possible no matter the question.

The funny thing was, she looked like she seriously believed her answer made sense.

Not just Iraq, but the Iraq.
Yeah, I thought that, too. Work in Africa and Iraq and you're a sure winner! Her coach forgot to tell her to actually make sense. And why South Africa? Their education is probably better than ours (I say that because some of my good friends are South Africans, teachers none the less, and they are much smarter than me).

Wow. I feel sorry for her. I'm sure she's not as dumb as her answer here. Maybe this is an extreme case of stage fright?

uh....yeah, I'm pretty much with everyone else here. Pretty dumb and kind of funny to watch, but really more painful. She's young and you hate to see her embarrassed so publicly.

It looked to me like a computer lock, with two conflicting commands. On the one hand, she had worked so hard on some speech, and she was prepared to give it. On the other hand, here was this question that was a surprise and required her to think on her feet.

Looks like she tried to do both and did a ctrl alt del.

I would just like to know where exactly is, "Everywhere in the such as?"

Of course, if many Americans don't have maps like Miss SC says, we certainly wouldn't be able to locate ourselves on said map would we?

Amazing what nerves can do to tie up the tongue!
