Dedicated to Anne

I've always wanted red hair. I think you know why, but in addition to Anne, there's also Little Orphan Annie (whose sheets I grew up sleeping on and whose movie I sang to more times than Rainman told Tom Cruise he was a very good driver), and if you consider the 1999 revival with Bernadette Peters (who happens to be a favorite of mine), Annie Oakley (from Annie Get Your Gun, after whom my car was named because anything you can do she can do better).

Very cute -

I was going to try and come up with some super sassy line form the play - but all I could think of was "Anything you can do I can do better". But, I think in this case - you've won with the cute hair color!

I think e v e n t u a l l y, if you're a red-head on the inside, it'll find a way out ;).

You, cutie-pie, ARE a redhead!

(love it, Miss Sassafrass!)

Sadly, my only foray into red was cataloged in my "I am NOT an MTV Video Hoe" serial...the shade I ended up was a brassy, not-occurring-in-nature freakish orangy-red. It would've scared Crayola :/.

Waitasecond . . . is that YOU? I mean, do we actually get to see your FACE?

Thanks, all.
And, yes, Jenn. Shocking, isn't it? Actually, I debated about that. How can I remain a mystery and show off my red hair at the same time? The red hair won (although I'm self-conscious by how big my nose looks in that picture b/c of the angle).

Dude, no way do you need to go there with the criticisms of yourself. You are a gorgeous girl! And man, do you work out or something?? You've got amazing bone structure and are quite lithe!

I'm glad we got to see you today.

You look adorable--ready to break out into song and dance. But I thought there was a different color on the horizon. Is that one shelved for now?

You look great as a redhead. And I put a little red in my blonde this last time. I've done red streaks before, which I really like. Red is a fabulous color.

thx, christianne. ;)
yeah, jenny, but my hairdresser talked me out of blue. she said blue only looks good if you have jet black hair. that's okay. i had shelved red a while ago b/c chris has a slight twinge of red in his hair. so i resurrected an old desire.

So....forgive me here because I'm not sure about this...that's you in the picture? Oh, I just read the comments.

Well, your hair is quite fetching. Red becomes you.

Having three daughters, I have learned how important hair is to many women. It's such a deep part of your self-image. I don't understand it, but I get it. By get I mean that I see that it is true.
