Thinking Blogger

Wow. I feel honored. Three people over the course of two days gave me this award, and I have to admit that the award itself doesn't mean nearly as much to me as what Gina, Peter, and Robin said (scooch over there and read it for yourself cuz it just makes me feel good besides the fact that I read their blogs everyday cuz I like em).
The participation rules are simple:
1. If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think,
2. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme (click on image above),
3. Optional: Proudly display the 'Thinking Blogger Award' with a link to the post that you wrote. You can choose silver or gold.
So the people I tag (and I'm going to do my best to not repeat tags):
Erin at They Hang Like Paper Lanterns for her amazing creativity and meditations (and music!)
Jenn at Jennwith2ns because she loves to stretch us on how we are incarnating Christ (which just happens to be my favorite subject)
L.L. Barkat at Seedlings in Stone because she has great questions and even answers to how we can better care for God's creation.
Christianne at Lilies Have Dreams because she searches for God (and finds Him, knowing its because of His grace).
And (drumroll, please, even though there is no order or rhythm) Michelle at Just a Minute because, as a fellow writer and someone who is very different from me and yet very much the same (explain that one), she just makes me think. Actually, all of my fellow misfits do. Michelle was the first misfit that came into my life, first through blogging, then in the real world (which does exist).
Wshoo. Narrowing down was stressful!

Get this...I was HOPING you'd tag Erin because if I was going to break the rules and include more than five people, she'd be next in line. :) She's one of my favorite commentors and I love the way her mind works :) :) :)! See? Tons of smilies and exclamation points mean business. I'll check out your other nods soon...(yeah, you know how that goes--soon means...at some point in the future but who knows when).

You and Robin are really the only two blogs I read that are genuinely thought provoking (hey you read my blog, no surprise there). You both really deserve it. I would have nominated Robin too but a few people already had.

WT - I take that as a high compliment because I know you don't dish em out just for the heck of it.

So I can't tag you back? Did you say no tag-backs? ;)

Thank you, I'm humbled and honored.

You, Girl, are giving me a reputation.

I ought to read your thinking posts before recommending wine as a form of pest control. I just got a reputation to uphold after all.

Seriously, I want to tag you back, too. I'm so honoured, I want to say I can barely speak, except that would surely be a falsehood, since I just posted four (count them, four) posts in one evening. So I'm going to wait to take full advantage of this award until Monday or something. Because also, I feel that to do so now would not only be too many posts, but somehow besmirch the holiday we are celebrating.

But thank you. I really DON'T know what to say. Which is probably why I keep going on like this.

Wow! I had no idea you nominated me until I happened to stop by your site today. (I've been hit and miss lately. Pesky wilderness.) Thank you so much for this sweet nomination. I have to say, though, that I'm not sure what to do in response. Everyone I admire has already received the award! :)

But seriously, I appreciate what you said about finding God and knowing it's because of His grace. I'm learning more and more that all things are because of this grace from Him. I'm sure I'll continue to learn this in a more truthful way the longer I live.

Hi, Heather. I've been off-line for a few days... holidays, etc. What a delight to find this sweet honor upon coming back.

So, I'll try to get to it soon. This week or next. Thanks so much for thinking of me.

And how wonderful that so many were thinking of you!
